Neodimyum (kısaltması Nd), atom sayısı 60, atom ağırlığı 144,3 olan bir elementtir. Periyodik tabloda 3B lantenitler grubunda 6. periyotta bulunur.
Neodimyum ve bileşiklerinin birçok önemli kullanımı vardır. Bu kullanımlardan biri, neodimyum itriyum alüminyum granat lazer olarak bilinen bir tür lazerdir. Neodimyumun bir diğer önemli kullanımı, çok güçlü mıknatısların üretilmesidir.
1885 yılında keşfedilmiştir. Çin'de çıkarılmaktadır. Neodymium bileşikleri ticari olarak ilk kez 1927 yılında kullanılmıştır.

Neodymium and its compounds have many important uses. One of these uses is a type of laser known as a neodymium yttrium aluminum garnet laser. Another important use of neodymium is to produce very powerful magnets.
It was discovered in 1885. It is mined in China. Neodymium compounds were first used commercially in 1927.
