The element Tennesin or Ununseptium is the chemical element with atomic number 117 and symbol Ts in the periodic table. It conducts electricity, but does not conduct heat very well. Element is in 7A group and 7th period. Accelerated calcium ions are obtained as a result of the collision of calcium and berkelium atoms during the launch of the berkelium target board. It was first discovered in 2010. Its name, which was originally "Ununseptyum", was changed to "Tennessin" in November 2016.
It is an extremely radioactive metal. It is an artificial element not found in nature. Only a few atoms have been obtained so far. Today it is produced for research purposes only.
