Rodyum, periyodik tabloda Rh sembolüyle gösterilen atom numarası 45, atom ağırlığı 102,90 olan ve 5.periyot 9B grubunda yer alan bir elementtir.
Düşük elektrik direnci, düşük ve sabit kontak direnci ve yüksek korozyon direnci sebebiyle elektrik kontaklarında ve elektrolizle kaplanmış ya da buharlaşmayla elde edilen levha hâlindeki rodyum son derece sert olduğundan optik aletlerde kullanılır.
Rodyum, 1803 yılında William Hyde Wollaston tarafından paladyumun keşfinin hemen ardından bulunmuştur.
